comScore reports that online retail sales dropped below $1 million during the week ending May 30. Is this a warning sign for the industry?
A Danger Signal for Internet Retailers?: "Online retail sales for the week that ended May 30 were flat compared to the previous week, and actually fell under $1 billion at $976 million. It was the first week this year that online sales did not top $1 billion, and they barely beat sales of year ago, which were $971 million.
It could be a blip -- or bad news for online retailers. "
